The Metalshop Studio has been offering classes and workshops in welding, blacksmithing, and fabrication since 2008!

All our classes are inclusive, informative, and mostly hands-on practice.

Our instructors are experienced, professional, and academic welders, blacksmiths, and fabricators.

Our owner, Brady Shea Foster, has been making high detail aesthetic metalworks since 2000. He is an AWS Certified Welder, Welding Inspector, Blacksmith, and Fabricator. He is now a Professor of Architectural and Ornamental Metalworks in Austin Community College’s Welding Department. We know how hard and valuable learning to weld and work metal can be. We have all been on this road for sometime. We hope to help you down your path of working metal. When learning new things, remember that a master of the trade has failed more times than you have even attempted, so keep your head up and try again, you will get there!
